Try it !&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;INGREDIENTS&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Butter&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Grated Parmesan cheese&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;3 tbsp. each butter &amp;amp; all-purpose flour&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;1 c. milk&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;1 tsp. salt&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;1/8 tsp. pepper&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;1/4 c. shelled sunflower seeds&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;5 eggs, separated&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;About 1 tbsp. shelled sunflower seeds (opt.)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br /&gt;INSTRUCTIONS&lt;br /&gt;Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Generously butter a 1 to 1 1/2 quart souffle dish or casserole. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, turning dish to coat bottom and sides; set aside. Drain broccoli in colander and press out any excess liquid with a spoon; set aside.&lt;br /&gt;In a 2 quart pan over medium heat, melt the 3 tablespoons butter.&lt;br /&gt;Blend in flour and cook, stirring, until bubbly. Gradually pour in milk nd continue cooking and stirring until sauce boils and thickens.&lt;br /&gt;Stir in salt, nutmeg, pepper and the 1/4 cup sunflower seeds and broccoli; remove from heat. Add egg yolks, beating vigorously with a wooden spoon. Whip egg whites until stiff, moist peaks form; carefully fold egg whites into sauce. Pour mixture into prepared souffle dish. If desired, top with about 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. While souffle bakes, prepared sauce to serve at the table. The &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;broccoli recipe&lt;/span&gt; of souffle is ready to serve.... immediately. Leave tops whole (the purple part) and slice the white portion into rings. (Or purchase pre-cleaned squid at the fish market).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a skillet, saute squid over high heat for 5 minutes in olive oil.&lt;br /&gt;Add garlic (and shallot if using), broccoli crowns and red pepper flakes. Stir in basil and oregano. Add additional olive oil to coat all if required. Saute 5 minutes over medium heat and then reduce heat and cover for 5 more minutes. Broccoli should remain a bright green, with tinges of browning, but should never become an olive green (if it becomes olive green then the broccoli has been overcooked).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chop black olives if you're using oil cured olives, or if you have ripe canned and pitted olives, slice into rings and add to pan. Add washed endive tops and the center (heart) of the head. Leave the&lt;br /&gt;heavy bottom stalks of the endive for soup.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add balsamic vinegar, True Lemon or lemon juice (if using). Saute 2-3 minutes more or until broccoli can be pierced with a fork (try one - it should still have a very slight crunch to it) and the endive is just wilted.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This can be prepared without the balsamic vinegar or the lemon, but finishing with the these two ingredients adds a uniquely Sicilian style tanginess that really makes the dish authentic. Slice directly through the "trunk," including a small section with each piece.&lt;br /&gt;Steam broccoli in a steamer or by placing in a large covered skillet with a small amount of water.&lt;br /&gt;Cook broccoli only until it attains a bright green color, then remove from heat. Broccoli will still be firm and may appear not to be completely cooked. This is wonderful with chicken or fish.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;INGREDIENTS:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; * 16 to 20 ounces frozen &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;broccoli &lt;/span&gt;spears&lt;br /&gt; * 2 tablespoon melted butter&lt;br /&gt; * 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated lemon zest&lt;br /&gt; * scant 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;INSTRUCTIONS :&lt;br /&gt;Cook broccoli following package directions. Combine melted butter, lemon peel, and pepper. Drain &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;broccoli&lt;/span&gt;; transfer to serving dish. Drizzle with butter mixture.
