Lemon Broccili Recipe
LEMON BROCCOLI RECIPE
This lemon broccoli recipe, just the thing for a weekday family meal. This is wonderful with chicken or fish.
BROCCOLI RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
* 16 to 20 ounces frozen broccoli spears
* 2 tablespoon melted butter
* 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated lemon zest
* scant 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
BROCCOLI RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS :
Cook broccoli following package directions. Combine melted butter, lemon peel, and pepper. Drain broccoli; transfer to serving dish. Drizzle with butter mixture. Serve hot.

CAULIFLOWER-BROCCOLI-SPINACH CREAM SOUP
BROCCOLI RECIPE INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 4 c. cauliflower, cut up sm.
- 4 c. broccoli, cut up sm.
- 1 c. chopped cabbage
- 1 c. chopped spinach (frozen)
- 1/2 c. chopped fine celery
- 1 1/2 c. American cheese, cut up
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. cream
- 1 stick butter
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt Pepper to taste
BROCCOLI RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Put all ingredients in kettle and simmer for 2 hours or until vegetables are tender. Be careful not to scorch...enjoy the broccoli recipe !

BROCCOLI RECIPE INGREDIENTS
BROCCOLI RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Sauté onions, mushrooms, minced garlic and dried rosemary in butter.Pour in 6 cups boullion (vegetable, beef or chicken flavor) and 3/4 cup of pearl barley.
Simmer until barley is soft (about 45 minutes). For thickener, stir 2 tablespoons cornstarch into 1/4 cup of cold water and 2 cups milk.Stir in 2-3 cups broccoli bits and simmer for 10-20 minutes over low heat.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

In saucepan over low-medium heat, place milk and cheeses until cheese is melted. Once all is melted and smooth you may add more milk if you like it thicker. I usually wait until I add the broccoli, sometimes the water from the broccoli is enough.

- 1-8oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 block Velveeta cheese
- 2 cans evaporated milk

BROCCOLI VEGETABLE SOUP
BROCCOLI RECIPE INGREDIENTS
BROCCOLI RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Bring the frozen mixed vegetables and finely chopped broccoli to a boil. Set aside to drain.
In a skillet, saute bacon or ham until crispy; drain on paper towels and set aside.
Add enough bacon drippings into soup pan to coat bottom of pan.
Simmer onions until clear in soup pan.
Whisk in 1/4 cup flour and 4 cups milk. Stir well. Add vegetables and bacon and bouillon.
Simmer until soup is thickened to desired consistency.
Salt and pepper to taste. This soup has better flavor when eaten the next day.

BROCCOLI RICE AND CHEESE CASSEROLE
BROCCOLI RECIPE INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a skillet melt the stick of butter. Sauté onion and garlic, until onions are tender. Set aside to cool.
Steam the frozen broccoli until thawed, then drain well. Let cool.
Cook wild rice according to directions. (Use any type of rice desired; wild rice is exceptionally good in this recipe).
It is important to allow the warm ingredients to cool before mixing everything together so the cheese doesn't melt too soon.
When sufficiently cool, reserve 1/2 cup of the cheese and mix remaining ingredients together. Put in a oven-proof baking dish or casserole dish (or 2 if needed).
Spread reserved 1/2 cup of cheese on top. Cover with foil.
Bake for 20 minutes, remove foil; bake an additional 5 to 15 minutes, or until cheese on top is hot and bubbly.
Make approx 12 servings, recipe can be cut in half.

Combine all ingredients and pour into greased 9- X 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes, or until lightly browned. The broccoli recipe is ready to serve !
